Payroll Giving

If your employer offers payroll giving, you can donate to charities – like us! – directly from your pay and for every dollar you donate, you get 33.33 cents back as a tax credit!

How to get started

Find out if your organisation offers payroll giving as some businesses have a specific platform or organisation that handles their payroll giving database.

For example, Good2Give is a giving platform that Fair Food is registered with. If your employer has Good2Give, you can sign-up and start giving to Fair Food in your next pay.

Otherwise, simply email us at hello@fairfood.org.nz if you’d like our bank account details to set up a regular donation that way. Easy peasy!

Employer’s Contribution

In some cases your employer may match $1 for $1 for every dollar donated to Fair Food. Ask if your employer offers payroll giving contributions or paid volunteering hours.
