Collaborations

We know that we’re not a one-stop-shop for solving the issues of food waste, climate change and hunger on our own. Thank you for bringing your ideas to the table with us.

Like-minded people

We’ve partnered with some of the best in the business and are super proud of the ways our neighbours on Rosebank Rd have stepped up to help our community thrive. Whatever your specialty is, we can put it to good use.

Thanks to the generosity and creativity of local businesses, we are able to keep our operating costs low. We can provide groceries for a week’s worth of meals to a family of 4 for less than $50.

Find out more on our corporates page or get in touch with us to create a unique collaboration.

Life Health Foods

Life Health Foods are our neighbours on Rosebank Rd. Their Souper Hero collaboration raised $20,000 through purchases of delicious local soups. Their teams also volunteer in our Conscious Kitchen and sorting tables.

Capitol Signs

The awesome folks at Capitol Signs gave our Hub a major upgrade with new wall decals, two light up signs, and signage for our front. They’ve made our big space come to life, so our hundreds of new volunteers feel more welcome and comfortable.

Autex week

Our neighbours at Autex generously sponsored a week of food rescue operations. Their donation shared 33,669 meals of fresh food and reduced emissions by 31.2 tonnes. We loved having their teams join us at the kai tables and on the road, too.

Like-minded learning

So many schools in Tāmaki Makaurau are involved in giving back to the community, and we love being a place for rangatahi to learn about fresh food and zero waste cooking. We especially welcome alternative education programmes. The future is bright with this generation!

The team from Two4Nine volunteer every week, cutting up bananas and other fruit. Leataata O Tupulaga share the chopped bananas to make a traditional Samoan dish, Suafa’i.

Mana Connections 4

The MC4 leadership programme supports Pasifika young people to thrive. We were honoured to join 50 amazing year 10 students from West Auckland schools in our Hub and at Avondale’s Feed the Streets community meal.

Baradene School for Girls

Hiranya was working towards her Duke of Edinburgh Hillary Award challenging young people to dream big and discover their potential. As part of this award, you must give back or provide voluntary service so it’s fantastic that Hiranya chose Fair Food to complete her service!

FF_dilworth-school-for-boys

Dilworth School for Boys

A cohort of Dilworth Boys came to Fair Food every two weeks to volunteer. They cleaned, they sorted and did a range of cool food waste educational projects.
